Leadoff Realty Advisors (LRA) is led by Chris Sowick who boasts over 38 years of senior management experience in commercial real estate, marked by significant achievements and professional relationships. His recent career milestones include being elevated to Interim President of Donohoe Real Estate Services, where he managed the firm’s brokerage, property management, and project management activities, and spearheaded growth initiatives in Northern Virginia. Prior to this, Sowick held key leadership roles at Cushman & Wakefield and Trammell Crow Company, where he led leasing and sales projects totaling more than 3.5 million square feet. Sowick’s career also includes a 17-year tenure at the Centennial Companies, where he served as President and handled over 400 transactions, amounting to more than 3 million square feet. Clients served include Akridge, AEW, Beacon Capital Partners, BF Saul Property Company, Carr Properties, Grosvenor USA Ltd., JBG Smith, TIAA-CREF, Inova Health Care Services, and The RMR Group.

His industry accolades include multiple Top 10 Leasing Broker awards from CREBA and the prestigious Brendan McCarthy Award in 2005. A leader in professional organizations, Sowick has served on the CREBA Board of Directors and the Advisory Board for Arlington Real Estate Group. Additionally, he is an active community member, contributing to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and local sports. Sowick holds an MBA from George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural History from the University of Virginia, and he is currently licensed as a Broker in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC.
